PAINTINGS ON BOOK PAGES GALLERY Paintings on Book Pages 2000-2003 Taken out of context, words can express different meanings than were originally intended. Within this series of small-scale mixed media works on book pages, layered images and text co-exist in an unusual and enigmatic interplay. The visible reworkings are similar to that of a palimpsest, revealing a history of the artist's process. It is up to each individual viewer to interpret the relationship between the abstract images and the selected text/phrases.
